Before You Begin

A team needs:

  • an approved Agentic Unit onboarding request;
  • users in the appropriate Cognito group;
  • an Agentic Unit team membership assigned by an administrator;
  • at least one available agent;
  • a linked GitHub App installation when the agent must access GitHub;
  • branch protection on important branches in every enabled repository;
  • the correct automation credential: a legacy Jira webhook key for Development Jira, or a scoped trigger token for Production Jira, Azure DevOps, and pipelines.

The dedicated Service Desk intake is not yet live. Use the existing Agentic Unit platform team contact route to request onboarding or support.

First Job

For the first run, choose a small task with clear acceptance criteria and a known verification command. Confirm that the expected team, agent, repository, and environment are selected before sending the task. Review the published branch or report before merging or deploying anything.
